South bound

You don’t need a passport

Just be there by Ten

We’re flying at midday

Can you make it by then?

No, don’t bring your luggage

You won’t need it there

It’s all taken care of

Including the fare

I know it’s your first time

We all make the flight

The journey’s a long one

We fly through the night

The climate is warmer

It’ll seem a bit strange

It’s cold here in winter

You’ll be glad of the change

Six months will just fly by

And when the time’s right

We’ll go back to England

When the evenings are light

We’re so very lucky

No one is as free

To travel the wide world

With a bird’s liberty
